It was 2020. What else was there to do except completely remodel a home literally from ceiling to floor?
This home was loved by its original owners for 38 years. They certainly cared for the home, but WOW was the design all over the place. There were 8 types of flooring throughout the home, and even more tile on various surfaces.

The challenges were:
1) Maintain the Spanish Hacienda feeling
2) Create a cohesive color palette throughout the home
3) Eliminate the hodgepodge of fixtures
4) Design functional workspaces for a whole family work-and-schooling from home
Challenge accepted.

Despite product shortages and lumber prices skyrocketing, we brought this hacienda back to life. We kept some key features throughout the home that really gave it the best character, and eliminated the eyesores that distracted from the true personality of the home.
And best of all, we had a blast doing it.

Yellow and orange were our “boss fight” in this house. They overwhelmed everything and just glowed… but in a bad way.
We calmed the colors and let the features of the home shine through.
