18 Valentine’s Days with my hubs. heart eyes

I had the flu last week… Or was it two weeks ago? It’s all a blur. I had these lofty goals of getting so much done that week. We had painted the main level of our house over the long weekend, and as soon as we were done, the illness crept in. So instead of productivity for 5 days, I laid on the couch and slept. The kids also had two snow days that week (total duds… about 1” of snow…). I got very claustrophobic in the house. Then, just as I was about to lose it, the temperature swung into the 50s and we sat outside on a blanket with the sun in our faces. Glorious.

Do I have a nice picture of my painted kitchen? No. Just this one… I probably had just stood up from drinking coffee in that chair. ANYWAYS. The kitchen is bright sky blue. Soar by Sherwin Williams.

On the right: Zebra plant. On the left: Philodendron.

I went to Lowe’s for paint. And came home with this Zebra plant. I couldn’t pass up that pot! That coaster is Hilton Head Island in South Carolina. It’s laser engraved and we got it from this adorable store, Fire & Pine. Did you know you can bike through the whole Hilton Head Island? Also on the beach during low tide! It’s V fun.

I am feeling the need to write a lot, but don’t worry, I won’t.
