Blog Post Two
I have plans to do business planning today. But first, my Apple Pencil needs to charge. So, I’ll write a blog post while I wait.

I got that marble cutting board when I visited Magnolia in Waco back in 2018 or so. It’s beautiful and makes all food look pretty.
Apple Pencil - 42%… dang this thing charges quickly.
How can one line of a song make you just feel so cheery? Those song-writers knew what they were doing.
I have so many positive thoughts about my business this year. They’re all swirling in my head. Normally I take holidays off from working, but we’ve had so many snow days and hang-out days in the last 4 weeks that I just can’t wait any longer to put my plans into action.

I have a Mac, but I have a PC wireless keyboard and mouse. Which button do you think is the control and function buttons? Obviously, I will google this. But I just wanted you to wonder with me for a minute.
Remember wondering? We don’t have to wonder nearly anything anymore. There is an answer readily available at all times. Does this contribute to our collective anxiety and fear of the unknown? Absolutely, imho. It’s like we have turned from curiosity to fear in the face of the unknown. Maybe we can work on that this year…

My homemade latte is almost gone. I don’t make one every day, but when I do, it’s such a treat. Too much caffeine might send me from productive into frantic, so I will refrain from a second latte.
I did a real-life art project the other day. My design mentor program, Designer’s Oasis, had a “2025 vision board” night. We cut magazines and glued and colored. It was so fun and felt so good to create something with no intention of selling it or making money. Just to have fun and be inspired while thinking about plans for the year. Want to see my creation? Here’s a half-blurry photo of it.

Mixed media art is really quite fun, especially when you decide that any choice you make is OK. The above collage has water color, marker, pen, and magazine clippings. I recommend an actual water color paper if you’re going to use that medium. All other paper will dissolve.
Apple Pencil - 100%… ok, no, it’s like 96%, but that’s GOOD ENOUGH. (I should add that to my vision board… Good enough.)
Ok, I love ya. Buh bye.
